Our Transitional Care Unit
In “The Changing face of Long-Term Care: Ohio’s Experience 1993-2005” a longitudinal study conducted by Scripps Gerontology Center at Miami University released in April 2007, it was reported that the trend for skilled nursing facilities is the increase of short term rehabilitation stays. In fact, in 2005, Ohio had over 190,000 individuals enter into skilled nursing homes, 66% of which were no longer residents in a nursing home after 6 months.

To meet this need, we have created a very welcoming short term rehabilitation area. Take a look at a few of our pictures. We think we have created a warm home-like atmosphere so you can get better fast.
